The Heyinks live in Huron County near Hensall, Ontario. Located near Lake Huron, they couldn’t imagine a better place to own an egg farm. Not only is it a beautiful location to raise a family, it’s also one of the most agriculturally productive counties in the province.
This rural community farm is part of a proud legacy for the Heyink family. After taking over for their father in 1996, Al and his brother became partners in the family operation. Today, Al and his wife Sylvia run the farm together.
The Heyink family plans to keep the farming tradition alive. Their three sons, Scott, Gregory and Mitchell have been very involved in the farm and hope one day to continue the success of the family operation.
