The Fédération des producteurs d’œufs du Québec accumulated $74,000 at its annual Golf Open, to benefit the Fondation OLO. Through their contribution, egg producers have donated a total just shy of $700,000 to the Fondation OLO since 2002. The 16th annual event was held at Club de golf de Verchères, with over 325 participants.
This amount will provide over 120,000 coupons for a dozen eggs for families in need. Egg producers believe more than ever in the mission of this organization: helping children come into the world healthy and getting them off to a good start in life through assistance and appropriate dietary support. Every day, the Fondation OLO supplies eggs, milk and orange juice to underprivileged pregnant women, as well as a vitamin and mineral supplements.
