 Hockey Canada is the national governing body for grassroots hockey in Canada. Its mission is “to lead, develop, and promote positive hockey experiences.” In addition to sponsoring Canada’s National Teams for the next four years, Eggs will be an official sponsor of six national events per year: TELUS Cup, Esso Women’s Nationals, RBC Royal Bank Cup, World Under-17 Challenge, Women’s Under-18 Challenge and the World Junior A Challenge.

 Hockey Canada and Egg Farmers of Canada (EFC) have teamed up to present EGGStreme Hockey Power Packs, a tournament program for minor hockey associations and tournament organizers across Canada. This partnership allows both organizations to work together to reach out to the grassroots level of hockey in Canada. The EGGStreme Hockey Power Packs provide much-needed support to local hockey tournament organizers and help promote the healthy, lasting energy in eggs to hockey moms and dads.

 Eggs have been added to a small group of sponsors for the CSA’S Nutrilite Active Start Soccer Fests Presented by BMO. Active Start Soccer is an internationally recognized youth development program targeted at children between the ages of 5 and 10. The Active Start Soccer Program is a fully sanctioned development program operated by the Canadian Soccer Association, its member provincial associations, and its regional, local and club members.

Egg Farmers of Canada (EFC) joined the Canwest Canspell National Spelling Bee program to help students Get Cracking® on their future education. EFC contributes a total of $120,000 to the Canwest Canspell Education Awards for both the regional and national spelling bee winners. These awards are a key part of the program, recognizing regional achievement with a gift of $5,000 to each of the 21 winners and rewarding national spelling eggscellence to the country’s champion with a $15,000 prize.
